At about 1,780 miles a car went around me honking wildly. I pulled over to find that exceeding the Mono's VNE for most of those miles had caused the vetical stabilizer tube to break off from metal fatique. The fabric was wrinkled and after pulling it back I found the rivet heads to be broken off. I guess the first project will be to re-do the tail. I thought the wind break at the front of the trailer would protect it, but I guess not. You can see that it let go right where the rivet hole was drilled.
